enzyscreen成立于2002年，是蘇黎世聯(lián)邦理工學(xué)院生物技術(shù)研究所的一家附屬公司，最初主要進(jìn)行新酶的合同篩選（共有1850個(gè)野生型菌株）。自2008年以來，enzyscreen憑借其工程師和生物技術(shù)專家團(tuán)隊(duì)，專注于設(shè)計(jì)、開發(fā)和原型設(shè)計(jì)用于生物技術(shù)和制藥行業(yè)的產(chǎn)品和設(shè)備，重點(diǎn)是微型培養(yǎng)系統(tǒng)。零部件生產(chǎn)外包給專業(yè)公司，主要位于荷蘭（約50%）、德國（約20%）和捷克共和國（約15%）。組裝和隨后的質(zhì)量控制在其位于荷蘭Heemstede的工廠內(nèi)部進(jìn)行。enzyscreen的設(shè)備主要用于“生物制品"的開發(fā)（例如癌癥藥物的開發(fā)）和生物生產(chǎn)工藝的改進(jìn)（啤酒、精細(xì)化學(xué)品、CHO-細(xì)胞抗體等）。
